“In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.”

The snow is here!
We’ve been spending our days outside, teaching Collette how to throw snowballs, and taking her sledding. The first snow was icy and froze to the ground, so no snowmen and no real snowballs, only chunks of frozen snow. After one day of snow we had enough for sledding, so we started the snowy season off right by taking her to her first sledding hill. Marty and our roommate Jonathan took her down the hill a few times before it got too cold. Her little cheeks were all pink, but she didn’t care, she was having fun. She asks to go outside to play in the snow everyday, I think she’s happier playing in the snow than she was all summer. Which is a good thing when you live in Minnesota.
I hope everyone is enjoying their winter weather (if they have it!).
Happy Holidays to everyone! Have a lovely and food filled Thanksgiving!
