Hello again, everyone!

I have spent the last few months tirelessly working on my very own Etsy shop! I’ve been working with clay for the last two years, and I finally ended up with enough things to start up a little side business. It’s been a fun journey so far, and I can only hope it gets better with time!

I went with the name Moose Blossom, after the nickname I was affectionately given by my husband when we were in high school.

So far I’ve ended up with several fun spiraled pendants. Each one ends up looking completely different from the others, which makes it extra fun! I’ve had a few custom orders from people that turned out to be lovely mixes of colors.

On top of them just being colorful and truly fun to make, I can add fun things to them to make them even better. It’s been a real process to find things that really work with these. Especially my steampunk pendants, since the gears are pressed into and baked right into the pendants. I’ve also been creating sets of gauged earrings to match and go with some of the pendants, which is also quite a process.

The gauged earrings I’ve been making have just been so much fun. It took me such a long time to get them to turn out correctly. Now I can get 0g and 00g rolled out on the first try most of the time. I’ve gotten pretty good at twisting them into fun shapes and adding fun dangles, charms, etc. to them. I’ve even got a few pairs I wear myself, and I’m totally in love with them!

With the careful direction of my 5 year old, I’ve also been making time creature charms. I’ve done everything from griffins and unicorns, to Orcas, baby pythons, and even pet rocks. These are by far my favorite things to make. Even if you mess something up, they end up cute. Though they are quite small, they are also time consuming to create. My daughter, of course, is there for every second it takes me to make these little guys.

There are several other fun things in my shop! Feel free to take a look at:
