On September 21st I had the honor of photographing my friend Lynn’s wedding.
It was my first wedding, and I learned a lot from it. Thankfully I knew all of Lynn’s family, so I was able to feel relaxed.
It was on her husband’s land in Alexandria, MN. The wedding was a few miles into deep forest, nested into a large clearing. As the sun started to set, Darrin and Lynn made their way down the aisle, read their vows, exchanged rings, and kissed their way into marriage. It was a lovely ceremony, filled with camouflage and fishing stories. Both Lynn and Darrin have daughters; Darrin’s daughter Monarch was accepted into the fold with Lynn’s 3 daughters, Angel, Sam and Allie.
We also wished a happy 45th anniversary to Lynn’s parents, who ironically forgot their own anniversary.
Their day was filled with laughter, and wacky fun.
I just revealed the photos to them today, and they loved them! Certainly a boost for my ego.

Work is crazy, but hopefully I’m back now, I missed all of you!
